History

  • April 1954 Responding to the need for clean air in the industrial sector, Eikosha started business focusing on the sale of air filters.
  • March 1964 In response to increasing sales of air filters together with their maintenance services, Eikosangyo Co., Ltd. was established
  • May 1968 Responding to the increase in demand for air filters, as well as the increase in orders for soundproofing and anechoic design and construction, we enhanced our production system and established the Susono Plant to expand its construction business.
  • July 1969 As a general engineering trading company handling air filters and clean room equipment, we expanded into the Kansai Region by opening a branch in Kyoto. Meanwhile, we expanded in size as well as sales. Responding to demands by the industry, we set up offices in Mito, Omiya, Yokosuka, Uji, and Kyoto.
  • August 1973 We increased capital to 40 million yen due to the increase in sales and orders for air filters, clean rooms, air conditioning equipment, and contracts for air conditioning facility construction.
  • May 1975 Kyoto Branch Office spun off as Eikosangyo Co., Ltd. (Kyoto), to oversee Uji, Ikeda, and Kyoto branch offices.
  • December 1981 As the sales base expanded, we established the North Kanto (Ota City) Sales Office and the Mito Sales Office at the same time.
  • March 1987 Niigata Sales Office was established.
  • February 1997 Transferred Tokyo Headquarters from Takadanobaba (Shinjuku-ku) to Mejiro (Toshima-ku).
  • March 2000 Transferred Omiya Branch Office to set up Saitama Sales Office.
  • April 2006 Acquired ISO14001 Certification. (At Tokyo Headquarters)
  • September 2011 Akihiro Kitagawa was appointed president and CEO.
  • October 2011 Sold the shares of Toyo Air Conditioning Co., Ltd.
